Hope In The Hard Places

Trauma, loss, and grief touch every community and can make it difficult to connect with God and to move forward to become the person we were created to be. The New Psalmist Baptist Church is hosting Hope in the Hard Places is a free 7-week adult healing group that provides a safe space where participants can discover God in the midst of their pain, learn practical tools and biblical encouragement for life’s difficult seasons. Using Healing The Wounds of Trauma, participants will also learn how to tell their story, help others, and use audacious faith to begin a path toward healing and resilience. Through Scripture, stories, honest conversation, prayerful reflection, and supportive group activities, individuals are invited to name their pain, understand how trauma affects the heart, and take meaningful steps toward healing, hope, and renewed trust in God.
